I went to Corning N.Y. for Thanksgiving and on the way there I listened to ragtime. It was so hard to not jump up and down in the car, because whenever I listen to it, it makes me feel so bouncy!
No Hannah, sadly I have not yet learned to play Scott Joplin yet myself, but I do have a house-mate who does know how play Scott Joplin's ragtime pieces on piano.

ReplyDeleteMaybe you could ask your piano teacher about learning a Joplin piece! I'm sure you'd appreciate his music even more if you played some of it yourself.
